Elizabeth Leigh Vassey

Elizabeth Leigh Vassey (born August 9 in 1972) is an American actress. She is famous for her roles as Emily Ann Sago, Captain Liberty, in All My Children and in The Tick. Wendy Simms, in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2001. Wendy Beaumont in Nikki & Nora in Nikki & Nora. Vassey played the role of a teenage Emily Ann Sago on the soap opera All My Children from 1988 to 1991. She was a frequent character in the show Tru Calling, as Dr. Carrie Allen. She has also appeared in a number of episodes and seasons of Two and a Half Men. Vassey was Wendy Simms' recurring role on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation from 2005 to 2010. Vassey was elevated from an actor in the regular cast to the Wendy Simms character in the tenth season , and began appearing in the show's opening credits. Entertainment Weekly reported that Vassey would not be returning for the eleventh season. Vassey was featured in an episode of the season. Vassey is married to David Emmerichs, a camera operator.In 2002, she and co-star Kristin Bauer, Vassey started a company known as Neurosis to create a T(ee) that produces and sells slogan-covered t-shirts for women. The slogans are often funny and relate to female anxieties and neuroses.
