Angeles, California in 1970. After the birth of her daughter, her parents
relocated to Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High
School, Performing and Visual Arts located in the Arts District. Later she
received a BFA diploma from Stephens College in acting and further studied at
the British American Drama Academy. She also worked for six years with the
Dallas Theatre Center, and one year with Encore Company. Before making her
debut on the big screen, she started her acting career at the theater. Her
credits in the theater include "As You Like It" and the "A Funny
Thing Happened on the Way To the Forum" as well as the "Measure for
Measure", the "Baby" and the "Chicago" productions,
among other shows. She stood out in Michael Cristofer’s HBO Telefilm Gia
(1998), where she was opposite Angelina Jolie. This performance made her a
favorite of critics and audiences alike. Then came the sci-fi time-travel
adventure, Frequency (2000) featuring Dennis Quaid and Neil LaBute's
much-anticipated Nurse Betty (2000) opposite Renee Zellweger, Elizabeth showed
her charismatic acting skills. Elizabeth Mitchell is an actor who has a long
list of credits, including films, television series and theatres. Her nose was

was her boyfriend in 1995. Parents are tax and real estate attorneys in their
own firm about 5 blocks away from their home in Dallas. After playing the role

to the U.S. Her birthplace was in Los Angeles in 1970. Her parents then moved
to Dallas in Texas. She graduated in 1991 from Booker T. Washington High School
for Visual and Performing Arts situated in the Arts District of Dallas. In 1991
she graduated from Stephens College with a Fine Arts degree. The back end 2001
was spent playing Cyd the character of Ioan Gruffudd. The series aired from the
month of March on BBC 1 TV.
